The Hassman
Termite and Pest Control Inc. was founded by Howard Hassman in
1962. The company serves the termite and pest control needs of homes and
business in the Central Kansas area. We have grown from a one man operation
to currently have 8 technicians and 3 office staff.
The company has grown by providing quality services to its customers. We
strive to maintain that quality service by educating ourselves through
attendance at seminars and workshops for the pest control industryfar
exceeding the State of Kansas requirements.
We are members of Both the Kansas Pest Control Association and the National
Pest Management Associations. We also are members of the Salina Area Chamber
of Commerce, and the McPherson Chamber of Commerce.
In January 1996 we were authorized as a Firm for the Sentricon System. We
have received the Customer Quality Service Award from Dow AgroSciences every year it has been offered.
In memory of Marlene Hassman, co-founder and vice president of Hassman Termite and Pest Control in Salina, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2008. She was 70 years old. Marlene is remembered as a kind, spirited woman who helped run the family business for more than 45 years alongside her husband, Howard, the companys president.
Marlene, who was born Marlene Rae Alt on June 28, 1937, in Herington, was a devoted wife and mother.
